Financial Management Specialist
About The Position
This role involves engaging across organizational boundaries to support the building of a disciplined mission program by managing resource allocation and investment across complex funding streams. The specialist will leverage insights into mission operations and apply financial and resource management expertise to improve mission outcomes. They will also build and improve working relationships between peers and organizations by enhancing business processes and resource management workflows. Additionally, the role aims to enhance program management rigor and overall program integration through resource management best practices, navigate high-visibility and high-pressure situations to achieve joint outcomes, and ensure financial portfolios are consistently managed to provide real-time insights to decision-makers. The goal is to drive a deepened, productive partnership between organizations by creating relationships and sustaining program momentum against mission challenges.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a FULL SCOPE (FS) polygraph.
- Bachelor's Degree; FOUR (4) years of additional financial management experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
- SIX (6)+ years' of mission support with financial management experience operating in the intelligence, defense, and/or national security fields.

- Demonstrated expertise in connecting development efforts with mission requirements.
- Multiple years of experience with federal resource and financial management systems.
- A polished and professional communications style.
- Demonstrated track record of building close professional relationships, especially between organizations.
- Masters degree in a relevant field.
