We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Financial Management Team, which delivers data-driven solutions that support government enforcement efforts and commercial nonprofit missions.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • 10-15 years of professional work experience.
  • Significant experience in consulting, a related professional services firm, or relevant service delivery function.
  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, budget, public policy, or equivalent work experience.
  • Federal government experience, with deep knowledge of OMB Circular A-11, OMB Circular A-123, OMB Circular A-129, OMB Circular A-136, the Federal budget process, and Federal oversight.
  • Understanding of the Federal Credit Reform Act (FCRA) and budgetary accounting requirements.
  • Familiarity with USSGL, Treasury Financial Manual (TFM), GTAS, federal accounting standards (FASAB) and financial reporting and/or budget formulation, execution, and reconciliation.
  • Ability to synthesize budget, accounting, and programmatic data.
  • Experience presenting complex issues to senior Federal leadership and staff.
  • Experience and understanding of federal financial systems, financial data architecture, reporting systems, and automation
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Government Contracting, including federal acquisition regulations.
  • Certification(s) relevant to work, including PMP, CGFM, CRP-FED-RIMS, CPA, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client delivery and serve as a trusted advisor to federal clients for engagements to design and implement financial assistance, budget, audit, or modernization initiatives for government federal credit or other financial assistance programs, agencies, and/or departments.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of Federal contracts along cost, schedule, performance, and risk -providing excellent customer service and strong program management, including staffing and supporting project team members.
  • Align delivery with agency priorities and compliance requirements, managing and reporting risk through management channels as appropriate.
  • Lead, develop, and scale teams: directly manage staff; build team capacity in financial management, compliance, and analytics; recruit, mentor, and retain talent.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in federal financial management, with an ability to help clients innovate and remain compliant with applicable Federal requirements.
  • Support portfolio growth and business development, identifying business opportunities, leading proposals, and maintaining market awareness.
