About The Position

We are seeking a Financial Management Analyst to provide high-level financial research, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting in support of government space programs. This role requires extensive experience in DoD financial management, with an emphasis on budget execution, compliance, and financial reporting within the military, Space Systems Command (SSC), Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), or government contractor environments. Experience with Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) or Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) programs is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in financial management systems such as CCAR, DEAMS, GAFS, FM Suite, and WAWF, and will be responsible for data reconciliation, reporting, policy implementation, and process optimization to enhance financial operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
10 years of direct experience in DoD financial management, preferably supporting space programs.
Experience working in government (military and/or civil servant), FFRDCs, or government contractor environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience reconciling complex financial data.
Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, including CCAR, GAFS, FM Suite, and WAWF.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with government personnel and stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis and reporting.
Active Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves
