About The Position

As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help our client succeed. You’ll work with program managers and task leads to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll provide analytical support to your client for the development of well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with program managers and task leads. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience executing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy-ERP), completing Funds Allocation Request Forms (FARFs) in NAVSEA COBRA, or supporting Task Planning Sheets (TPS) in the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
  • Knowledge of Navy appropriations and financial processes, including the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system and Navy POM process
  • Ability to create reports that reflect financial planning and execution
  • Ability to identify financial risks early and collaborate across technical teams to develop solutions
  • Ability to communicate financial insights effectively
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a Navy Systems Command Program Management Office
  • Experience developing spend plans
  • Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle
  • Ability to mentor junior analysts or manage financial workstreams
  • Certified Defense Financial Manger (CDFM) or DAWIA Business FM Certification
