Financial Instructor
About The Position
Athletes Global is seeking an upbeat, positive, and motivating Financial Freedom Instructor to teach children ages 8–14. The class covers budgeting, the difference between liabilities and assets, personal relationships with money and financial beliefs, compound interest, retirement investing, and developing a financial freedom game plan. Applicants must be friendly, skilled at explaining concepts and instructions, and able to present themselves professionally and personably. Credible references and a successful background check are required. The position is part-time and in person at Tidewater Community College, 1428 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322. Classes are scheduled Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., starting December 5, 2026. Pay is $27.00–$30.00 per hour.
Requirements
- One year of teaching experience is required.
- Must be friendly and skilled at explaining concepts and instructions.
- Must present professionally and in a personable manner.
- Must provide credible references and pass a background check.
- Must be able to commute to Chesapeake, VA 23322.
