Financial Crime Risk Analyst II -KYC

TD•Boston, MA
•$30 - $48

About The Position

The Financial Crime Risk Analyst II provides analytical, research, and assessment support for the development and enhancement of enterprise Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) programs and processes. The role may work with key stakeholders and third-party service providers to support AML, ATF, sanctions, and ABAC programs that meet regulatory requirements, and helps review higher-risk customer or transaction information. Within the FCRM Know Your Customer (KYC) Program Team, the role supports the establishment and ongoing oversight of an effective KYC Program for TD Bank US Holdings. The KYC Program establishes consistent requirements for knowing customers and evaluating risks across the customer relationship lifecycle. The position is on the KYC High Risk Reviews team, which conducts enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers. The team manages procedures and escalations, analyzes customer behavior and concerning activity, and works with the first line of defense on review outcomes, issues, and guidance for high-risk customer types and related activity. This is an EDD-focused role rather than an investigative role; experience conducting complicated EDD is important. This experienced professional role provides specialized guidance and support to FCRM functions. It independently performs work end to end, applies an advanced understanding of products, processes, systems, and related areas, and uses judgment to manage ambiguity and resolve operational issues. The analyst interprets policies, implements process improvements, and makes process and capacity decisions within established practices and plans.
