About The Position

The Financial Crime Risk Analyst II provides analytical, research, and assessment support for the development and enhancement of enterprise Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) programs and processes. The role may interact with key stakeholders and third-party service providers to support AML, ATF, Sanctions, and ABAC programs that meet regulatory requirements, and assists with reviewing higher-risk customer or transaction information. Within the FCRM Know Your Customer (KYC) Program Team, the role supports the effective oversight of the KYC Program for TD Bank US Holdings. The KYC Program establishes consistent requirements for knowing customers and evaluating relationship risks throughout the customer lifecycle. The KYC High Risk Reviews team conducts enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers, manages related procedures and escalations, and analyzes customer behavior and concerning activity in accordance with KYC policy and regulatory requirements. The team engages with the first line of defense regarding EDD outcomes, issue management, and guidance on high-risk customer types and activity. This experienced professional role independently performs work end to end and provides specialized guidance and support to FCRM functions. It requires advanced understanding of relevant products, services, processes, procedures, systems, and concepts; judgment in resolving business and operational issues; and the ability to interpret policies and implement process improvements. The position focuses on EDD rather than investigations and requires experience conducting complicated EDD reviews.
