About The Position
The Financial Counselor assists patients and their families with financial services, ensuring the payment process is clearly explained, easy to understand, and as comfortable as possible. The role helps patients navigate financial responsibilities related to their care while providing compassionate, professional service throughout their healthcare experience. The position is with Orlando Health Lakeland. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients and their families with financial services.
- Explain the payment process clearly and help make it easy to understand and comfortable.
- Help patients navigate financial responsibilities related to their care.
- Provide compassionate, professional service throughout the patient healthcare experience.
