We are currently seeking a Financial Counselor Lead (Full-Time | Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) to join our Women’s Patient Access team. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in financial, business office, or customer service environment
Nice To Haves
- healthcare systems experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting financial counseling and patient access processes
- Accurately collecting and entering patient/guarantor demographic and financial information
- Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining necessary authorizations
- Resolving insurance issues, including pending, denied, or appealed accounts
- Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Establishing payment arrangements and assisting with financial applications
- Providing service recovery and resolving patient billing concerns with professionalism
- Ensuring compliance with all Patient Financial Services policies and procedures
- Serving as a resource and support for team members and department initiatives
