About The Position

The Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company's financial reporting and control environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, strengthening financial discipline, and providing reliable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including team leadership.
Previous experience in manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
Proven ownership of financial close, audits, and core accounting operations.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Self-starter with high accountability and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Effective communicator able to partner with non-financial stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Ensure accurate, timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Review reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate external audits.
Manage core accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets).
Maintain strong internal controls, ensure policy compliance, and mitigate financial risk while improving processes and systems.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor performance against plan, analyze variances, and provide insights to support leadership decision-making.
Lead and develop the accounting team through coaching, training, and performance management.
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
