About The Position

GHJ Search & Staffing is partnering with a growing apparel manufacturing and private label company with approximately $100M in annual revenue that is seeking a Financial Controller to join its leadership team. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, audit support, and cash flow management. This company is looking for a hands-on leader who understands the operational and financial complexities of overseas production, inventory management, and large retail customer relationships.

Requirements

• Prior Controller experience
• Apparel manufacturing, wholesale, private label, or import production experience
• Strong cost accounting and inventory accounting knowledge
• QuickBooks Online expertise
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in high-volume transaction environments

Nice To Haves

• Factoring and financing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close
• Manage AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial reporting
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory, WIP, and inventory-in-transit
• Manage factoring relationships and A/R financing
• Lead audits and ensure GAAP compliance
• Partner with Production, Sourcing, Logistics, and Executive Leadership
• Manage and develop the accounting team
