About The Position

In this exciting role, you’ll give clients financial guidance while forming lasting relationships built on trust, respect, and reaching a common goal. You’ll also have the ability to take charge of your own professional journey with our supportive, nurturing culture and diverse set of career opportunities. As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be procured with the practice of existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.

Requirements

  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
  • Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as it will be required during your tenure on the job.
  • Currently have your securities license.
  • Enjoy working in a team setting.
  • Share our passion for serving clients.
  • Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with wealth management and financial planning advice.
  • Grow practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and client referrals.
  • Manage wealth on behalf of clients including: Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning.
  • Engage clients in discussion about market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies.
  • Provide an outstanding investor experience.
