About The Position

As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be provided with existing Schwab clients, offering them wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you will grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. This role is ideal for individuals who currently hold their securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share a passion for serving clients.

Requirements

  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
  • Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance is required during tenure.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to inspire action.

  • Manage wealth on behalf of clients, including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning.
  • Adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve.
  • Engage in community engagement to discuss market conditions, investing principles, and wealth/investment strategies.
  • Provide an outstanding investor experience.
  • Further professional development in Wealth Management.
  • Register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing if engaged in residential loan mortgage originations.
