As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be procured with the practice of existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. Requirements

  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
  • Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as it will be required during your tenure on the job.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen the client relationship by applying a focused client communication strategy, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Leverage team of Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, knowledge of the markets, and ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward achieving their goals.
  • Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with wealth management and financial planning advice.
  • Grow practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.
  • Manage wealth on behalf of clients including: Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning.
  • Adapt and implement change as the market and business conditions evolve.
  • Engage clients in discussion about market conditions, sound investing principles, and the ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies for their personal situation.
  • Provide an outstanding investor experience.
