The Financial Consultant interacts professionally and timely with internal and external clients via email, phone, and in-person. Key responsibilities include preparing and managing RFPs for self-funded TPA and stop loss submissions, collecting and reviewing proposals, and updating marketing results. The role also involves initiating renewal reviews for medical, TPA, and stop loss plans, providing recommendations, and negotiating with carriers. Analysis of data for benchmarking, contribution, disruption, network, stop loss deductible, and GeoAccess is required, along with providing underwriting cost projections and developing self-funded IBNP analysis. The consultant will assess risk and funding structures, present findings, and analyze data for inconsistencies and trends, providing written and oral summaries. Client presentations will be prepared and delivered. Additionally, the role includes providing mentorship to analysts and performing technical reviews of their work.
