Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• RVT or DVM certification
• Minimum 3 years of management experience

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in the veterinary field
• Strong knowledge of charge capture and veterinary billing workflows
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Emotional intelligence and ability to de-escalate client concerns
• Confidence in holding team members accountable and following through

Responsibilities

• Oversee and audit the hospital’s revenue cycle, including invoicing, charge capture, and accounts receivable
• Review inpatient and emergency invoices daily to ensure treatment-based accuracy
• Identify and correct billing errors and prevent revenue leakage
• Process refunds, credits, invoice adjustments, and reconcile accounts
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections strategies
• Provide financial updates and guidance to clients compassionately and professionally
• Support CareCredit, Cherry, and other financial assistance workflows
• Train and onboard team members on proper charge entry and invoice management
• Implement accountability systems to improve billing compliance
• Provide financial reporting and audit support to hospital leadership
