Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards)
- Experience working with financial and operational datasets
- Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking
- Ability to interpret data and present actionable business insights
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn new systems and analytical tools
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality or multi-unit business experience is a plus
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze monthly financial statements, P&Ls, and operational reports across hotel properties
- Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial reports for leadership
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting revenue, labor, and profitability
- Support KPI tracking and performance dashboards
- Evaluate hotel performance across occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor productivity, and expenses
- Conduct cost analysis and ROI evaluations for operational initiatives and capital projects
- Partner with Operations, Revenue Management, Accounting, and HR to validate and interpret data
- Translate operational performance into financial insights and recommendations
- Improve reporting tools, automation, and Excel-based workflows
- Assist with system upgrades, data mapping, and testing for new platforms
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial and operational datasets
- Support special analytical projects assigned by leadership
