About The Position

This Financial Analyst position works closely with internal partners in a structured, collaborative environment and requires strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and appropriate escalation of exceptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically, less than one year of related experience
• Finance or Economics degree.
• Basic knowledge of financial analysis techniques, general accounting procedures, forecasting, and planning.
• Well-developed mathematical, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently within defined processes, analyze data, and identify and resolve exceptions.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Comfort learning technical concepts and systems.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collect rate information and update applications that generate funding curves and distribute pricing information to internal systems and departments.
• Complete rate processes within established deadlines.
• Monitor and respond to requests related to prepayments, rate locks, rate questions, exceptions, and other operational needs.
• Review loan documentation and compare information across systems to validate prepayment language and resolve exceptions.
• Prepare financial analyses, spreadsheets, statistical models, management presentations, and interest rate pricing and forecasting information.
• Research and resolve problems or errors in financial reporting data and assist with financial application development as needed.
• Support internal business partners and the department help desk after completing sufficient training.
• Participate in testing, project work, and process improvement activities when available.
