About The Position

Metropolitan Companies is seeking a motivated Treasury & Financial Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of Treasury, this role offers exposure to both corporate treasury functions and project-level financial analysis, making it an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a well-rounded finance skill set.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships
• High proficiency in Excel; VBA and financial modeling skills strongly preferred
• Background in construction and/or accounting a plus

Responsibilities

• Support daily cash positioning, bank account monitoring, and liquidity reporting
• Assist with intercompany funding activity and internal lending administration
• Prepare treasury reporting and reconciliations for management review
• Support periodic bank account access reviews and internal control procedures
• Assist with ad hoc treasury projects, including process documentation and system improvements
• Partner with accounting on month-end close to ensure P&Ls are completed accurately and on time
• Assist in preparing management presentations and reporting deliverables to meet deadlines
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, systems, and reporting tools
