About The Position

Internet Brands is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide key analytical support across a portfolio of its business units. This role focuses on the thinking that sits on top of AI-driven analysis, working alongside senior General Managers to frame questions, turn analysis into decisions, and drive business actions. The analyst will partner with business unit leads, prepare analysis for recommendations, contribute to strategic conversations, and use AI as a thinking partner for analytical heavy lifting, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Requirements

Ability to use AI as a thinking partner, directing, questioning, and double-checking its output.
Curiosity and drive to understand the business behind the numbers.
Problem-solving skills: ability to define problems, structure approaches, and drive solutions.
Financial storytelling skills: ability to transform data into clear insights and present with confidence.
Modeling fluency: ability to build solid financial models and identify discrepancies in models or data.
Strong Excel skills.
0-2 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or a related analytical role.
New graduates with strong internships are welcome.
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a highly analytical field.

Responsibilities

Partner with business unit leads and senior analysts to prepare analysis and recommendations.
Contribute to strategic conversations and provide a unique point of view.
Utilize AI tools and workflows for analytical heavy lifting, ensuring output accuracy and accountability.
Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives.
Build financial models and analysis to support key operational decisions.
Own parts of the monthly forecast and annual budget cycles for assigned portfolios.
Ensure accuracy of financial components and help simplify/automate reporting.
