The analyst will research and analyze financial information and provide valuable reports and written analyses to help management make well informed decisions and monitor activity.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics.
1-4 years’ experience in a Finance role.

Responsibilities

Consolidate, analyze and report financial data (i.e. branch operations, loan and deposit data, income and expense, etc.) taking into account company’s goals and budgets.
Assemble and summarize large amounts of data for high level management reports on financial status and trends.
Develop financial models and conduct peer benchmarking.
Reconcile and verify reported information.
Support other departments and senior management as needed in answering business questions, assistance with reporting, projects, scorecards, key performance indicators (KRIs), annual broker and insurance reviews, etc.
Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about new trends in the industry and market.
Prepare quarterly economic reporting and support economic update memo for strategic planning.
Drive process and policy improvements.
Consult with management to help guide and influence goals and strategy.
Consolidate, prepare and analyze department budgets.
Recommend and assist management on budget cuts and additions.
Assist in preparing ALM reports, monthly forecast, liquidity analysis, capital planning, strategic planning, and budgeting.
Assist in running Finance software applications for ALM modeling and forecasting, including modules for liquidity, credit, and deposits.
