About The Position

Rogers Group is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Indiana Strategic Market Area (SMA), based in Bloomington, IN. This role is on-site and reports directly to the Area Controller and partners closely with Area and Site management to provide financial insight, reporting, and analysis that drives operational and capital decision-making. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills, a high sense of ownership, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.
  • Experience in construction, mining, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support month-end accounting processes, including journal entries, inventory management, and reconciliations.
  • Perform audit and compliance testing across financial and operational processes, including evaluation of internal controls, documentation of results, identification of gaps, and coordination with management on corrective actions.
  • Manage capital expenditure projects across the Indiana SMA, from financial modeling and approval through project closeout.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute weekly and monthly financial and operational performance reports.
  • Review, maintain, and administer royalty agreements, ensuring compliance, timely payments, and clear supporting documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Perform ad hoc financial and operational analysis in support of Area and Site leadership.
  • Support administrative and accounting functions, including purchase orders, project tracking, and accounting entries.
  • Design, build, and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
