About The Position

Asure Software is hiring a Financial Analyst to work with its FP&A team and partner with business leaders. The role supports the annual budgeting process, monthly forecast updates, business-trend analysis, and management of key performance indicators. It prepares management reports on revenue and expense performance, explains variances, and contributes to special projects and other analysis as needed. The position is hybrid and based in Austin, Texas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, CIS, or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel modeling, data mining, and analysis skills.
• Strong PowerPoint skills.
• Diligence, high standards for accuracy, exceptional attention to detail, and commitment to meeting critical deadlines.
• Team-player approach, effective communication, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a business-partnering mindset.
• Positive, proactive, can-do attitude and ability to achieve results in a collegial, team-oriented environment.
• Curiosity and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to question financial-model outputs and consider improvements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of database systems such as SQL.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Partner regularly with business leaders to understand their needs and changes in the business.
• Provide financial insights to business leaders and assist with short- and long-term planning.
• Prepare management reporting with relevant variance analysis and adjust outlook models to reflect operational changes.
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecast, and review the results with the management team.
• Support and maintain key metrics used in presentations for the Board of Directors, earnings calls, investors, and auditors.
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics and business drivers.
• Support processes that ensure accurate and timely completion of financial planning consolidations.
• Ensure reporting systems and source data are accurate and reconciled.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support the business.
