About The Position

This position produces, gathers, formats, and reports financial information. It supports productivity and statistical reporting, decision-support analysis, and ad hoc reporting of financial data. The Financial Analyst prepares reports and documents using multiple software tools to assist staff and management with decision-making, and works with accounting and reimbursement departments to align financial data. The role also supports accurate reporting, improves reporting efficiency, and manages competing priorities while meeting departmental deadlines.

The position is based at 1 Hospital Plaza, Stamford, CT 06902.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a related financial position, preferably in a hospital setting.
• High level of computer literacy, including prior experience importing and exporting data files.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ad hoc reports and supporting documentation using applications such as EPIC, Excel, and other decision-support software.
• Create analyses in response to specific requests from management and other departments.
• Serve as system administrator for benchmarking and staffing/productivity applications.
• Improve reporting efficiency and contribute to FP&A workflow enhancements.
• Work closely with accounting and reimbursement departments to ensure alignment of financial data.
• Communicate effectively to clarify requirements and support accurate financial reporting outcomes.
• Meet departmental deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively.
