About The Position

Perform fiscal and budget analysis, forecasting, reporting, and ad-hoc financial requests for an Arizona state agency. Responsible for performing fiscal/budget analysis, completing ad-hoc requests, and other miscellaneous duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in analysis, forecasting and reporting, possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics, economics, or business administration OR a master's degree in business or public administration, and have 3 or more years of experience with complex financial/budgetary work. They should also be highly adaptable and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.

Requirements

3+ years of complex financial or budgetary work experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics, economics, or business administration OR Master's in business or public administration
Experience in analysis, forecasting and reporting
Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Analysis and interpretation of complex data
Utilization of computer-based systems and software including Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Statistical analysis and theory
Detail oriented and committed to a high level of accuracy
Learn and apply increasingly complex concepts, policies, and procedures
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to handle high-stress situations
Enjoys collaboration including providing and receiving feedback
Presentation skills including ability to report complex data in simple terms and responding to questions efficiently and cordially
