About The Position

The Financial Analyst performs day-to-day analytical functions across SEA and works with management at the corporate office and parks. In collaboration with finance and strategy teams, the analyst provides analytical services for park locations and SEA initiatives. The role includes analysis of pricing, attendance, per-capita revenue, marketing initiatives, budgets, expenses, and macroeconomic and industry trends, as well as support for business unit strategy meetings and other assigned projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
At least two years of relevant business experience in financial planning, accounting, or business analysis.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
Strong communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Analyze park pricing initiatives and provide analytical support.
Analyze attendance by location and product.
Review and analyze per-capita variances for admissions and in-park spending across the company.
Provide marketing analysis for new campaigns and initiatives.
Assist with preparing business unit strategy meetings.
Conduct financial analysis of macroeconomic and industry trends.
Assist with preparing the annual operating budget.
Provide expense variance analysis for corporate departments.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
