Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a motivated, analytical Financial Analyst to support our Flight Services division as a revenue portfolio owner. This role will partner closely with business leaders to manage financial performance, deliver data-driven insights, and support planning and forecasting activities across the revenue portfolio. This is a high-visibility position within the broader FP&A team, offering direct exposure to leadership and meaningful impact on business decisions. This hybrid role is based in Austin, TX or Englewood, CO.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical finance roles
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial results clearly to non-finance audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with business partners
  • Software or technology industry experience
  • Located in Austin, TX or Denver, CO

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience with Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, or similar planning tools
  • Pilot or aviation enthusiast

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue portfolio reporting and forecasting for the Flight Services division, tracking actuals against plan and identifying key drivers of variance
  • Support the annual operating plan and monthly reforecasting processes in partnership with Flight Services business leaders and the broader FP&A team
  • Build and maintain financial models to support revenue planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making
  • Prepare monthly variance analyses and executive-ready reporting packages to communicate performance trends and insights to leadership
  • Analyze headcount costs, operating expenses, and other financial metrics, providing actionable recommendations to business partners
  • Partner with the Accounting Team to support revenue accruals as part of the month-end close process
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as requested by FP&A leadership and Flight Services management
