About The Position

This role requires a weekly one-day on-site presence. The Financial Analyst reports to the Controller for the Department of Medicine (DOM) and is responsible for: Budgetary and financial management of the clinical enterprise for three to four of the Department’s 13 clinical divisions at its Parnassus / Mt. Zion sites, comprising about 1/3 of the Department’s $167 million clinical enterprise. Management of $6.2 million of 149 annual commitments made to the Divisions. Ad hoc financial analysis and decision support where typical assignment would involve using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and organizational policies and procedures, resolving a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
