About The Position

GPS Insight is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team. This role will act as a cross-functional business partner, focusing on high-impact analytical initiatives such as pricing, cost optimization, vendor spend, revenue assurance, and board-level reporting. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical problem-solver who can identify and address the root causes of issues. This position involves working closely with the VP of Finance and partnering with Revenue Operations, Accounting, and business leaders across the company's brands. The role is based in the Scottsdale, AZ office.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and a track record of digging into problems.
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial systems; experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • A structured, resourceful approach to open-ended problems, with the ability to break down ambiguous questions and work towards clear answers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify root causes rather than treat symptoms.
  • Ability to work independently and translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and taking ownership of loosely defined problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and present to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Financial modeling and forecasting support, including contributing to financial models, forecasting, and month-end variance analysis, with continuous process improvement.
  • Board reporting preparation, including preparing and maintaining board and investor reporting packages with supporting analysis and commentary.
  • Revenue assurance and reporting, ensuring complete and accurate revenue billing, recognition, and collection, identifying and investigating revenue leakage, and partnering to close gaps.
  • Cost savings initiatives, including identifying, quantifying, and driving cost-reduction opportunities, building business cases, and tracking savings.
  • Vendor spend monitoring and optimization, managing vendor spend through Spendhound, tracking spend, contracts, and renewals, identifying consolidation and savings opportunities, and managing the renewal calendar.
  • Process improvement and root-cause problem solving, diagnosing financial and operational issues and driving durable fixes.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional initiatives as priorities evolve.
