We have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our Hanover Park, IL team. You will be responsible for providing financial analysis and business partnerships to the Commercial Water Solutions business segment. This role will work closely with the manufacturing team on a daily basis and contribute to various financial activities, including database analysis, supply chain coordination, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role will be reported to the Manufacturing Finance Manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of finance experience, preferably in a global manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, general accounting, budgeting, and cost accounting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new concepts quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BI, reporting, and ERP systems (Power BI, Denodo, OneStream, QAD, SAP, or JDE) preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be a valued and integral part of our global organization, engaging with various levels of leadership.
  • Work closely with our manufacturing team by continuously improving our reporting processes and operational productivity.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operation reports.
  • Support month-end activities.
  • Support Site Leader and Finance Leadership with analysis and presentation of monthly expense and absorption variances.
  • Partner with Site Leader and Mfg. Finance Manager to prepare weekly outlooks, monthly rolling forecasts, and the annual plan.
  • Support monthly capital project review meetings, monitor project spending, track progress against approved budgets, and coordinate timely project closures in accordance with company policies.
