The Financial Analyst analyzes ticket revenue, bookings, yield, pricing, load factor, capacity, costs, and distribution-channel performance using multiple data sources to identify risks, opportunities, and actions supporting annual revenue goals. The role prepares recurring forecasts, pacing analyses, booking targets, attainment reporting, and variance explanations, distinguishing drivers such as volume, rate, mix, timing, capacity, currency, cost, and methodology. The analyst conducts scenario, sensitivity, competitive, and impact analyses for pricing recommendations, promotional strategies, market events, itinerary changes, capacity shifts, and other commercial decisions, translating findings into recommendations. The position measures promotional, sales, and tactical-offer performance against objectives and benchmarks, and recommends whether initiatives should continue, change, expand, or close. The role owns daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting and analytical summaries, ensuring timely refreshes, accurate commentary, appropriate distribution, and resolution of data or methodology questions. It builds, maintains, validates, documents, and improves Excel-based models, pricing files, trackers, databases, queries, and testing files; reconciles information across source systems; investigates exceptions and root causes; and communicates data-quality or methodology impacts. The analyst also prepares presentation-ready summaries and partners with Revenue Management, Finance, Sales, Commercial Planning, Operations, and data teams to align assumptions and implement approved actions, including support for new-season launches and financial planning.
