About The Position

Siemens is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial and controlling activities at its factory in Roebuck, South Carolina. The role focuses on product-line profit and loss analysis, financial planning and forecasting, productivity management, and support for the digitalization strategy. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams and provides financial information to support business decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong critical-thinking skills and attention to detail.
Ability to transition from non-digital to digital solutions.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data concisely and appropriately.

Three years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze assigned product-line financial performance, profitability, and cost control.
Support development and implementation of product-line financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
Help manage capital expenditures and investment activities in alignment with financial goals and strategic objectives.
Conduct product costing, including Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing-time analysis, to support accurate cost allocation and financial reporting.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decisions and ad hoc requests from the Focus Factory Controller and Plant Manager.
Monitor and improve productivity within product lines, identifying opportunities and implementing best practices.
Assist with implementing and supporting digital tools and strategies to improve financial processes and reporting.
Identify process-improvement opportunities and implement financial-management best practices.
