The Financial Analyst supports UTEC’s budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, government contract invoicing, and financial analysis functions. The position works closely with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), CFO, Accounting, and department budget holders to help ensure that financial information is accurate, timely, understandable, and useful for decision-making. The Financial Analyst prepares recurring budget-to-actual reporting and analysis, government contract invoices, staff allocation and unfunded operating expense schedules, and forecast and scenario models. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys understanding how programs operate and helping non-finance colleagues use financial information effectively. For someone who wants to see how finance connects to mission, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with leaders across UTEC’s programs and social enterprises, understand how funding decisions affect operations, and help strengthen the financial tools and information used to support UTEC’s work with young adults.
