Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI or similar tools an asset.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One, or equivalent preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Divisional Director of Finance in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including updating monthly rolling forecasts and supporting data collection.
  • Perform reconciliations and variance analysis to support management reporting.
  • Support month-end close for assigned functional areas
  • Maintain and update financial models under the guidance of the Divisional Director of Finance.
  • Contribute to the preparation of management presentations and financial reporting packages.
  • Support profitability and margin analysis at product, customer, or business-unit levels.
  • Assist in implementing financial process improvements and BI/reporting tools.
  • Partner with the Divisional Director of Finance and operations teams (sales, production, logistics, etc.) to gather data for KPIs and performance tracking.
  • Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple systems to support decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports for use by operations and leadership teams.
  • Contribute to ad hoc analyses and projects assigned by the Divisional Director of Finance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes and identifying areas for streamlining.
  • Participate in cross-training with Finance team members to ensure continuity of operations.
