About The Position

DISHER is currently partnering with a global supply-chain solutions partner in search of a Financial Analyst to join their team. This organization helps manufacturers grow and succeed by providing end-to-end support across market entry, sales, account management, logistics, and distribution for automotive and other industrial markets. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the finance team, responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and improve overall business efficiency through data-driven recommendations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years of experience
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Expert in Excel
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage and function in a multiple reporting relationship structure
  • Proactive / self-starter
  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Automotive experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates and quotes for new programs
  • Analyzes and thoroughly understands cost structures
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed
  • Provide analysis of key variances to forecast
  • Research cost trends and recommends costs and rates to be used in future year forecasts
  • Lead improvement activities
  • Maintain and update various files and file formats
  • Provide input on strategic initiatives
  • May lead the development and management of budgeting and forecasting activity
  • Expert in automotive programs and use of our volume forecasting tool (currently S&P)
  • Provide back-up for other accounting functions as necessary
