About The Position

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to support strategic growth initiatives through detailed financial analysis, pricing insights, and data-driven recommendations. This role partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate performance, optimize margins, and support budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at translating complex data into actionable insights. Candidates must be local to St. Louis, MO.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data
Process-driven with strong organizational skills
Ability to clearly communicate financial insights to stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to understand business drivers and industry trends
Curious mindset with the ability to follow issues through to resolution

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze financial data to support forecasting and business performance evaluation
Identify discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure data accuracy
Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, valuation, and scenario analysis
Analyze pricing, cost structures, and margin performance to support revenue optimization
Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and leadership
Conduct trend analysis on revenue, expenses, and operational performance
Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and “what-if” modeling
Provide recommendations for financial planning, cost optimization, and investment decisions
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure data integrity
Measure post-implementation results against projections and identify improvement opportunities
