The Financial Analyst will assist in the monthly and quarterly close process for operational review and accuracy. This role involves monthly/quarterly site reporting, including the preparation of key monthly operational business summaries, comparing performance against operating plans and standards, and covering key performance indicators. The analyst will provide reports and ensure detailed explanations of variances to budgets, forecasts, and prior years. Responsibilities also include department spending tracking, review, and communication to management, as well as manufacturing support for spending and absorption analysis and efficiency tracking. The role requires preparing and assisting with forecasts and budgets, including forecasting a full balance sheet, departmental expenses, and completing supplemental information. Additionally, the analyst will assist with data input, tracking, and reporting for weekly scorecards, working capital updates, cost trackers, and labor allocations. Reviewing sales and margin analysis on machines, parts, and service transactions, and reporting on variances is also a key duty. The analyst will review and report metrics for Operations, including efficiency, BTS, OTD, and inventory turns. Participation in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) for inputs, analysis, reviews, and machine scheduling meetings is expected. Completing quarterly E&O analysis and working with the Operations Finance Manager and Materials Manager to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained is required. The role involves working with Shared Services and other sites as needed on data and following up on irregularities, acting as business partners. Coordination with management on Sox issues and reviews to ensure compliance, performing monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual Sox testing, and updating the Sox tracker are essential. Assisting with ICRM reporting to maintain required reporting status is also part of the role. Cost by model responsibilities include coordinating annual standard cost updates and analyzing costs prior to budget and after standard cost updates. PPV responsibilities include completing monthly analysis and reconciliation to GL, explaining variances to budget/forecast. NPPD support involves providing costing analysis for new product development. Cycle Count and mid/max review requires coordinating data with the Inventory Analyst and Materials Manager. Verifying and performing job closing for machines, parts, and stock, and conducting Job Cost reviews for the Clear to build Process and month-end analysis of Job Cost variances are also required. The Financial Analyst will provide analytical support to the Operations Finance Manager and Finance Director with various other projects or ad hoc reporting as needed. Finally, the role includes providing administrative support of front office operations as needed.
