Omnitrans, provider of public mass transit for the San Bernardino Valley in Southern California is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our award-winning team. The ideal Candidate hired will be under the general direction of the Budget and Grants Manager, the Financial Analyst will perform accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and administrative tasks, with a strong emphasis on operating and capital budget planning, preparation, execution, and presentation. The role also includes responsibility for grant tracking, allocation, reporting, and project funding. In collaboration with project managers and other team members, the analyst will support the implementation and monitoring of grants, progress reporting, and the completion of grant closeouts. The position involves identifying, monitoring, analyzing, and reconciling budget variances, as well as tracking project expenses and cash flows across multiple grants for billing and Single Audit purposes. This role requires a thorough understanding of budget development and support, grant management and reporting—preferably with experience in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grants—as well as general accounting and financial principles.
