About The Position

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst who will partner with our clients to identify opportunities for improvement, mitigate business risks, and provide actionable insights that drive profitability and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, is comfortable working independently and collaboratively, and can quickly understand complex business processes and financial data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related business functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and work ethic.
  • Ability to quickly understand and evaluate complex business and financial processes.
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, and business writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable thinking critically and working independently.
  • All candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to and from SC&H offices and client locations where applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Progress toward or interest in pursuing professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA, or MBA.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional business initiatives and strategic planning efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the client to understand contract risks and overall objectives of the audit
  • Assist with selection of suppliers to audit
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Provide status updates in partnership with team as applicable
  • Complete stakeholder interviews
  • Request and review documentation from suppliers for compliance
  • Collect feedback on non-compliance from suppliers
  • Create supplier audit reports under the guidance of management
  • Deliver supplier audit reports that present the facts to help the client make informed business decisions based on the findings
  • Assist with supplier negotiations to obtain refunds, provide contract recommendations, process improvements, and benchmarking in partnership with management
