Droplet provides a suite of document automation tools that helps organizations get the right information to the right people, fast. What started as a web form and approval workflow solution, built for school districts, out of a garage in Provo, Utah, has grown into one of the fastest-growing software companies in the nation! We're a lean team of 30 motivated, hardworking individuals who are passionate about solving hard problems and delivering real value to customers. Our two flagship products, DropletForms and DropletSign, are leading the charge in helping organizations move away from paper-based processes and embrace the 21st century. With strong year-over-year revenue growth, great financial stability (we're profitable!), and many more exciting products to come, Droplet is only just getting started! This is a hybrid role that requires in-office work at our Draper, Utah office 3 days per week. Finance at Droplet is currently one person. This role is the second. We want to be direct about what this job is, because the sequencing matters. In your first year, the majority of your time is billing, collections, and the transactional side of finance. You will own invoicing, chase down payments from district business offices, manage AP and vendors, and make sure the numbers underneath everything else are right. It is real work with a real cash impact, and nobody here treats it as junior work. As you get command of that, analytical work moves to you — forecasting, SaaS metrics, reporting, the models that drive company decisions. That transition is written down below with dates on it, not left as a vague promise. If billing and collections aren’t something you’re willing to own well first, this isn’t the right role. If you want to learn how a software business actually works from the cash up, it’s an unusually good one. You’ll report directly to the COO, who runs finance.
