About The Position

As a Financial Analyst at Coborn's, you'll help leaders understand the story behind the numbers and turn financial insights into meaningful action. Through financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, you'll support decision-making and contribute to the success of our employee-owned company. This role is ideal for an early-career professional, recent graduate, or upcoming college graduate looking to build a career in finance. You'll gain hands-on experience analyzing business performance, creating reports and financial models, and partnering with leaders across the organization to drive results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or AA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field, or expected graduation within the next 12 months.
  • 0-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities that impact business performance.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and financial models that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for leaders.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to understand business results and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Help improve financial reporting, forecasting, planning processes, and reporting tools.
  • Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility into business performance.
