About The Position

Join Global Engineering and Technology (GET) in providing the United States Navy with gold-standard analysis support in one of the national declassification programs with the highest internal promotion rates. As an Entry-Level Declassification Analyst, you will work on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, a government facility in the District of Columbia, in support of the Navy’s Declassification Program. Requirements

Must be able to start work on Monday, 26 October 2026, without exception.
Requires a current Top Secret clearance.
Must currently live within a reasonable commuting distance.
A Bachelor’s Degree (or proof of anticipated near-term completion) OR 4 years of related military experience (e.g., intelligence analysis or classification analysis) OR 2+ years of experience performing declassification analysis based on Executive Order 13526.
Ability to communicate effectively – both orally and in writing.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and adjust to established work patterns and processes as required.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial declassification reviews in support of the U.S. Navy.
Analyze unclassified and classified documents to determine the appropriate actions in accordance with the precepts and protocols set forth during their training and certification.
Understand classified document markings and symbols, and apply said knowledge to the different types of documentation assigned.
Utilize analytical skills to make determinations on documents for release, referral to other agencies, and exemption from automatic declassification.
Recognize possible nuclear weapons and intelligence information requiring further review.
Properly handle boxes and documents (boxes can weigh between 15-25 lbs.) and ensure that the integrity of the contents of every archival box remains intact.
