About The Position

The Financial Analyst supporting Robot Platform will partner with Vehicle groups, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to drive financial planning and monthly estimate-at-completion (MEC) activities. The role owns critical manufacturing KPIs, including inventory, bill of materials (BOM), and open purchase order planning, and manages monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) cycles and product-costing close activities. The position requires understanding of cost accounting systems and processes, as well as financial planning and reporting in a manufacturing environment. The analyst uses SAP, Anaplan, and other reporting systems to analyze large financial datasets and provide actionable insights that inform operational strategy and manufacturing efficiency. The role owns planning and reporting for the Vehicle Development team, supports S&OP and forecast variance reporting, manages product-costing close activities, and supports implementation of systems for production manufacturing through design, build, testing, and cutover.

Requirements

BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a quantitative field.
At least 4 years of experience in FP&A or another analytical field.
At least 2 years of direct experience building models, forecast input templates, dashboards, and business processes in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with product costing and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working directly with planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan, OneStream, or Looker.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data to develop clear insights and recommendations.
Ability to develop strong cross-functional working relationships across the finance team and beyond.
Understanding of cost accounting systems and processes, and financial planning and reporting in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Own planning and reporting for the Vehicle Development team.
Own critical manufacturing KPIs, including inventory, BOM, and open PO planning.
Manage monthly S&OP cycles and MEC activities.
Support monthly S&OP and forecast variance reporting to Finance, Vehicle, and Supply Chain leadership.
Manage close activities, including accruals and allocations for product costing.
Analyze large financial datasets from Anaplan, SAP S4, SAP Ariba, and other internal data systems to develop actionable insights.
Support implementation of systems required for production manufacturing through design, build, testing, and cutover phases.
Partner with Vehicle groups, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams on financial planning and reporting.
