About The Position

The Financial Analyst plays a key cross-functional role in supporting the company’s financial planning, budgeting, contract analysis, and accounting processes. This position works closely with category & marketing and other departments to help develop budgets, monitor spending, analyze financial commitments, support month-end closing, and provide meaningful reporting and insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis. This role requires the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders, evaluate financial implications of contracts and business activities, and ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies and objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or a similar role.
Experience supporting budgets, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

CPA designation or progress toward CPA is considered an asset.
Experience reviewing contracts, vendor agreements, or commercial terms is preferred.
experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is preferred.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly marketing or operations, is an asset.
