The role As a Financial Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy of financial data and maintain rigorous records under the responsibility of the Controller. You will act as a key team member to optimize accounting processes and ensure the strength of internal controls.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in financial accounting, analysis, or auditing.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA designation (or in progress).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex data with initiative and rigor.
  • Autonomy and adaptability in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the retail sector or inventory management (asset).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of financial information, including revenue, billing, and inventory.
  • Ensure reconciliation of financial data across different systems to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Actively participate in the month-end closing process and the year-end audit.
  • Prepare monthly consumption tax returns and remittances.
  • Collaborate on system optimization, specifically for the accounts payable automation project.
  • Participate in the rigorous monitoring of the company's cash flow.
