Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge of Texas Instrument hardware.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a university setting (graduate student) or in industry
  • Power systems (generation, transmission, and distribution).
  • Renewable energies (battery, wind turbine, PV cell).
  • Industrial networks.
  • Power electronics.
  • Electric machines.
  • Motor control.
  • Electrical system simulation.
  • HIL/RCP.
  • Digital twin.
  • Matlab/Simulink/SPS – LabVIEW
  • French is mandatory. Knowledge of English is required for reading literature available only in English.
  • Ability to work on diverse projects with multiple collaborators.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication.
  • Proactivity.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, results-oriented, positive attitude, strong team spirit.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of OPAL-RT software: RT-LAB, ARTEMiS, RT-EVENTS, TestDrive
  • Language skills other than French and English.
  • Knowledge of RCP hardware: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Texas Instruments or others

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop electrical courseware with university collaborators
  • Adapt existing courseware to new hardware platforms dedicated to rapid control prototyping, for example: TI boards, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.
  • Prepare training and introductory video capsules for the courseware.
  • Participate in scientific publications on new courseware-related topics.
