Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, the Procurement Analyst plays a key role in strengthening our purchasing function through data-driven insights and process optimization. This position sits at the intersection of procurement, analytics, and operations, supporting strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, and inventory optimization. You’ll help ensure we maintain a reliable, cost-effective, and efficient supply chain in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis (manufacturing environment preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
Solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Bilingual (French & English) – spoken and written (an asset)
Power BI an asset

Responsibilities

Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, trends, and risks
Support strategic sourcing initiatives (supplier selection, benchmarking, contract support)
Assist in RFQ preparation and bid analysis to support data-driven decisions
Evaluate market conditions, commodity trends, and supply risks
Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Monitor and report on supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing)
Develop and maintain supplier scorecards
Support supplier relationship management and performance improvement initiatives
Contribute data and insights to support negotiations and sourcing strategies
Maintain accurate procurement data in the ERP system (pricing, lead times, supplier info)
Reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives
Standardize and optimize procurement workflows and reporting
Assess inventory levels and recommend replenishment strategies
Analyze inventory movements, usage trends, and demand variability
Support inventory counts and discrepancy analysis (root cause)
Collaborate with production, engineering, and inventory teams to align supply with demand
