Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other related field
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in a financial analysis role
- Advanced technical and financial modelling skills, minimum 9/10 in Excel require
- Experience working with and creating intuitive financial reports from large and complex data sets
- Strong oral and written English skills, French is an asset
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in the Fintech industry; strong asset
- Experience working with payment schemes including Mastercard, Visa etc.
- Experience working closely with Senior Management
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for Senior Management on revenue, costs, client base, cash flow and other relevant metrics
- Perform in depth analysis of financial results to help assess company performance and guide future decision-making; assist with updating company budgets and forecasts
- Calculate fees using data from financial operations and assist with the billing of monthly fees to clients
- Reconcile large data sets to ensure proper monitoring of card issuing activities
- Drive initiatives to optimize and improve internal processes; participate in projects that support the company’s growth and expansion into other verticals; work with the Product and Tech teams to ensure all Finance requirements are met before go-live
- Assist with building and maintaining dashboards displaying relevant financial information, company trends and KPIs using BI
- Support the team with other ad hoc tasks and initiatives, as required
