About The Position

This is a hybrid position based at our beautiful corporate office located in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday. The role involves creating and modeling pro forma business cases for transformation projects, tracking spending and savings, and developing financial models and analytical tools to support these initiatives. The analyst will prepare analyses to support transformation projects, providing decision support to leadership to optimize short- and long-term business and financial performance. Additionally, the role supports the Transformation team's inputs for the Surgery Partners financial forecasting and budgeting process and performs ad hoc data analyses as directed by the VP of Transformation. Collaboration across various company functions, including Operations, Development, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and others, is essential to align on project performance, design, monthly results, and identified risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Monte Carlo and/or related variable input analysis desirable.
  • Experience in a multi-location environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial/accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills required; advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional financial competence, strong business acumen, robust organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques, and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Ability to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare/Hospital experience preferred.
  • Experience in developing financial systems and procedures.
  • Experience in partnership accounting desirable.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) desirable.
