About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Financial Analyst for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role is responsible for managing all financial inputs for corporate forecasts, including staffing plans, contract accruals, and balancing to targets. The ideal candidate will develop financial forecasts, coordinate the monthly and quarterly reporting process, and partner with finance, technology managers, and portfolio delivery leads.

Requirements

Prior experience in finance or business support, exposure to corporate forecasting, headcount reporting, variance analysis and knowledge of project management
Intermediate up to advanced proficiency in Excel with proven ability to perform analysis and develop insights from data
Background in financial reporting (base and/or initiative)
Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience including knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and/or data interpretation and analysis
Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input and when to act independently
Excellent written & verbal communication skills and executive presence
Extremely organized with excellent time management skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Global Technology financial processes and tools such as PMMT, TPAS and WMP

Responsibilities

Develop a financial forecast and ensure technology managers execute within 1%
Coordinate monthly and quarterly forecasting process and reporting in partnership with finance, tech managers and portfolio delivery leads
Track joiners and leavers and maintain staffing plans
Follow-up with managers on progress with hiring; escalate barriers and issues to BSM
Track and report corporate forecast variance drivers
Monitor capacity and forecast allocations and ensure they are accurate and complete
Partner with the portfolio governance and financial team to monitor changes in funding and work with BSM to assess impacts to staffing plans
